Just to let you all know that there will be a Folk/Acoustic Club starting up in the Keys and it will meet on the first Sunday of each month starting on December 7th. (About 8.45pm)

On the first night we will have a guest singer. Alternate months will be "residents" evenings where the idea is you come along, bring your guitar (or fiddle or pipe) and sing. Or just listen!

Just to remind everyone, and to bump this thread back up a bit.

The first Folk Club evening will take place this coming Sunday (7th December 2008) in the "restaurant" at the Cross Keys from about 8.45pm

As well as the main guest, David Kilpatrick, there will be a couple of songs from some other artists to start the evening off.

There will be no charge at the door (of the restaurant) but you are asked to put something (preferably a few quid!) in the hat when it comes around. If you like folk/acoustic music, then this will be a great couple of hours on an otherwise uneventful Sunday evening.
