Why does Dinas not have its own firework display? 

Hello all,

I was just wondering why Dinas doesnt have its own firework display? Was there ever one in the village? Penarth and Barry both have one of their own, seems slightly unfair.

That's a good question!

I think i remember there being a fireworks display in "years gone bye" but i think good old health and safety put an end to it.

Only been here since 96 so maybe somone more senior might be able to add more?

Not really helpful information it could be said but apparently the Golf Club used to organise a fireworks display as well as the Rugby Club.

Apparently the Golf Club stopped doing it about 14 years ago and the Rugby Club a few years later.....
