Yes, the offer in the Three Horseshoes is "interesting" and the customers diverse.
However the landlord has made a go of the pub (which was a dog...), and I wouldn't say it was lowering the standard of the village.
Much busier than it used to be (the continuing direness of the Cross Keys helps it) so people must like something about it.
The smokers are offputting for those who want to visit the public bar, and probably illegal given their propensity to gather within the porch...
